Monthly Archives: March 2009 Here is my toy, my ever changing pride and joy… a 1974 Chevy Blazer; now before my fellow motor heads beat up on me I am fully aware that this will never roll across the blocks at Barrett Jackson’s Car Auction as a collector car but I didn’t pick it; it picked me....  We spent a couple hours this afternoon in the Ghost Town of Fairbank, Arizona about 10 miles NE of Sierra Vista, Arizona and about 80 miles SE of Tucson, Arizona. Maria has been here several times but this was my first trip and I was really impressed with how the Bureau of Land Management has...  Here is a shot I took with my new Canon 400mm lens, it’s a fairly heavy piece and it’s never a good idea to hang that much glass off the end of your camera body, so I mounted it up to my Manfrotto Monopod.I am not used to using a monopod but found out quickly...
