Here is a shot I took with my new Canon 400mm lens, it’s a fairly heavy piece and it’s never a good idea to hang that much glass off the end of your camera body, so I mounted it up to my Manfrotto Monopod.I am not used to using a monopod but found out quickly you can still have movement if you are not careful so I switched to burst mode and tossed out the first image which is a neat little trick I learned when shooting cars.
I am guessing the turtle were perched on the rocks some 50 yards give or take and I was able to pull down on them pretty decent. They seemed interested in what we were feeding the ducks and it wasn’t long after this shot they took to the water to get some chow for themselves.
