Ever wondered what’s under your tub?

Lots of dirt!  Remember the little crack that caused the big problem?  Since the discovery of the mess between the walls we have had some chaos here with getting the mess cleaned up and shuttling back and forth to a hotel.  The clean up has turned into a complete remodel of both bathrooms…might as well since everything is torn apart.

We finally, after two weeks, have a toilet in one bathroom.  Never thought I would be so excited to see a toilet! :)  We might have a tub tomorrow.  We have a really good crew of guys doing the work which is a blessing!

More updates to come….

The first pic with the pile of dirt is where the tub used to be.  #2 is the new toilet and #3 is another shot of the tub space.

Cheryl.. I’m not sure if it’s a win/lose thing or an ongoing score; right now we are tied, she scored two new bathrooms and I scored a ego powered engine, rims and tires for my ’74 Blazer. All costing about the same money.

Maria told me of the funny thing my youngest son told the plumber the other day. He said, “You can pull up your pants you know.”

LOL… thats my boy

LOL @ Robert’s comment! Although now he has something else to put on his honey to do list – work some overtime to pay for the bathroom remodel :-) . You can never win Robert never!!!!!!
Hope you get it all done soon.

I like to call things in my life that happen unexpectedly and turn into something wonderful “happy accidents”. I’ve had many happy accidents, meeting my husband, forgetting an ingredient in a recipe and discovering it tasted better without the ingredient, etc... Photography was another “happy accident". A friend needed someone to help shoot auto races, my husband volunteered me and bought me my first Digital SLR camera. Five years have passed since those first nights standing on a wall and trying my best to capture cars traveling 120 mph heading directly at me. It didn’t take me long before I wanted to learn how to operate the camera without guidance. My journey began and still continues. read more
