Derek & Melissa, Married : Southern Arizona Wedding Photographer

Derek and Melissa were married on Saturday at the San Pedro River Inn.  The weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding not too hot and the setting was beautiful.

Here are some of the Bride’s details.  The dress was gorgeous, loved the shoes and the six pence she had stuck to the bottom of one of them.

Before I share more of Melissa and Derek here’s a peek at the cake.  Lori at the Baker’s Floor did a fantastic job.  It was totally unique!  The cake topper was extra fun! :)

Congrats to the couple and to the photographer. The picture shows each every emotions and happiness displayed towards each other. The pictures of the cake and the last picture shows us how deep can a photographer can think.

congratulations melissa – you look very happy together. I love the pictures…the bride looks amazing and luminous. I love the picture of the dip in black and white! Today being my aniversary of thirteen years, I wish I could go back and do it all over again…I would have hired Maria as my photographer! Cheers to love :)

I like to call things in my life that happen unexpectedly and turn into something wonderful “happy accidents”. I’ve had many happy accidents, meeting my husband, forgetting an ingredient in a recipe and discovering it tasted better without the ingredient, etc... Photography was another “happy accident". A friend needed someone to help shoot auto races, my husband volunteered me and bought me my first Digital SLR camera. Five years have passed since those first nights standing on a wall and trying my best to capture cars traveling 120 mph heading directly at me. It didn’t take me long before I wanted to learn how to operate the camera without guidance. My journey began and still continues. read more
