I was expecting it based on weather reports last night but I was still surprised this morning at 6:30 when I was awoken by a small person wanting to play in the snow. After a quick breakfast and getting bundled up we headed out before the sun started melting away the rare treat. There wasn’t enough to make snow angels or have a good snowball fight but I did manage to keep my shivering under control long enough to get a few shots.

The skies are blue now, the snow has melted away, it was fun and beautiful while it lasted.

Hi Maria, I love your new blog picture…my gosh your hair is sooooo darling…it is really you…..I love going back and seeing your pictures. On a busy hard day I feel so calm when I brouse through weddings, and fall and snow and all the pictures that capture what God sees and sees in us. How fun! A nice little sampler of what the East Coast winters are like.
Today it is raining here, pouring infact this morning! I wonder if there will be any snow left. I’m getting excited for Spring now though the winter has been so nice and sunny and pretty too.
