As I mentioned in the “little teaser” Robert and I shot Cody and Michele’s Wedding on Saturday. The day started with Michele at the salon. Michele is sooooo organized, she brought her wedding file to the salon and kept on top of things via texting. ![]()
Next we were off to her good friend Shawn’s house for makeup and the ceremony. You may remember Shawn from her wedding earlier this year.
Ah… the dress
I love Michele’s smile!
Cody and Michele had a “First Look” before the ceremony. I love this because it gives us time to take formals and it gives the Bride and Groom time to relax a bit together, calm nerves and and enjoy each other privately before the guests arrive.

The next picture is out of sequence for the events of the day but I wanted to share it here for couples who are considering a “First Look” but are afraid that the excitement will be gone when the Bride walks down the aisle. You can see Cody was just as anxious to see Michele at the start of the ceremony as he would have been if they hadn’t had the “First Look”.
Back to the “First Look”
Another good reason to consider the “First Look” is the opportunity to make fun images, like these of Cody and Michele in her classic Mustang, without taking time away from getting to the reception for formals after the ceremony.
I applied a little Photoshop Fun to give these images a 1970′s feel to match the era of the car
Michele’s son was her escort
The flower girl, Michele’s grand-daughter, momentarily stole the show…she was TOO cute! ![]()
Cody and Michele were surrounded by family and friends during the ceremony
The kiss

Man and Wife
First dance
The guest’s cupcakes were just as pretty as the Bride and Groom’s cake
The day ended with dancing to include a chorus line to the song “New York, New York”. Look out Rockettes. ![]()
Thank you Cody and Michele for sharing your day with us! We loved shooting your wedding and meeting your friends. Wishing you every happiness for years and years. ![]()
