Vendor Spotlight : Fig Jewelry and Weddings of Distinction

One of the friends who attended Cara and Luis’ wedding brought the most fun and personal gifts for the couple that I have seen.  I immediately started thinking of all of the gifting possibilties of these unique pieces of jewelry and all of the people I would love to give them to.

I contacted Laura, the creator of Fig Jewelry, and asked if I could post a link to her website because I was so impressed with her designs.  Her website is pretty cute too, check it out here

These are the custom necklaces Cara and Luis received.  So CUTE!!!!!!!!!!

My second Vendor Spotlight is on Weddings of Distinction.  Micheal McCune and his wife Brenda provide a FABULOUS entertainment service for receptions.  They are more than just DJs.  It was a treat to shoot at the reception they were DJing for but to say they are DJs is an understatement.  They are true entertainers who kept the reception flowing on a timeline.  They had games for the Bride and Groom and the guests.  Here is their version of The Newlywed Game

They kept the guests dancing and having a great time!

If you are in need of entertainment for your reception I whole-heartedly recommend Weddings of Distinction.  You can check out their website here.  Contact phone: (520)586-4581

I like to call things in my life that happen unexpectedly and turn into something wonderful “happy accidents”. I’ve had many happy accidents, meeting my husband, forgetting an ingredient in a recipe and discovering it tasted better without the ingredient, etc... Photography was another “happy accident". A friend needed someone to help shoot auto races, my husband volunteered me and bought me my first Digital SLR camera. Five years have passed since those first nights standing on a wall and trying my best to capture cars traveling 120 mph heading directly at me. It didn’t take me long before I wanted to learn how to operate the camera without guidance. My journey began and still continues. read more
