I have tried to go to Laura’s site and it’s not working…do you know what’s going on? I really really want to order one of these for Christmas time.

Thanks for your help.

oh wow! I usually am picky about jewelry but that necklace is beautiful!! Wow! I love it! Ummm…… I brought back a necklace for eric from africa a while back and kayden broke it! So I collected the pieces and put them in a ziploc in my dresser for like, two years. finally, I got it repaired a few months ago and gave him back his necklace – thats my fav. jewelry giving memory :P Ha! and Erics response when he saw it was “hey, that looks just like my necklace that kayden broke.” !! … DUH!

Hi Maria! Fantastic giveaway. Ok, my favorite piece of jewelry is my wedding ring. I don’t wear anything else. I’m pretty plain jane.

Maria Goodhue - September 5, 2009 - 9:23 am

Oooh! cute necklace! My favorite piece of jewelry is, of course, “rockzilla” as you called it :) Andy did a great job! I am a big fan of earrings, but my necklace collection needs to catch up! Help me out with this! :)

My favorite piece of jewelry would have to be my wedding ring and the heart I wear around my neck with your Dad’s ashes in it. When we went to pick up the wedding rings your Dad got on one knee in front of everyone at the jewelry store and proposed. That was one of the happiest days of my life.

Rebekah taught me to appreciate “bling” and to always accessorize and wear matching bra and panties!!! LOL! I miss her so much!…my favorite jewelery story would be my late husband, James, proposing to me…we drove to Lake Havasu so that I could meet his dad. Unbeknownst(is that a word?) to me, he was secretly getting his mom’s engagement ring to give to me. When we got back in the car, he reached over and handed it to me and said “Here” and that was it! That was his whole proposal…HERE! My 13 year old son (Chris) was in the back seat and said “DUDE! That was SO romantic!”. He was such a great guy…

that necklace is super cute! i’m not a big jewelry person, i wear just a few pieces: my wedding band, my necklace and my ear rings. of all my jewelry, my engagement ring and wedding ban are my favorite. aaron ordered my engagement ring while still in afghanstain waiting to come home finally after our first deployment together. and we exchanged wedding vows and bands just before he deployed the next time. not only are they a promise to spend our lives together forever, but a sign of strength and committment for enduring the long deployments.

Aw, it’s really cute! Let’s see, my favorite jewelry memory has to be my friend Kelsey and I going to Tiffany’s in Tucson to exchange ring sizes (the rings were a bridesmaid gift from Kate) and we got all dressed up in our sun dresses and fancy hair and were treated like royalty. It was so much fun for us Audrey-Hepburns-at-heart! This piece actually reminds me of one I saw there!

Great idea, Maria. But I have to say… while I’m out here, Kate and Joseph’s wedding pictures are amazing. Sat here and saw the whole batch today. Awesome…

Looks like I’m comment number one. I’m not sure that being first is really the best for being randomly selected to win but anyway… as always, I enjoy keeping up with you and your blog. I’ve been sitting here, trying to think of a clever jewelry story. (Nothing’s coming to me… sigh) So instead I’ll say what a great idea Maria… and I love your jewelry Laura! Ciao :)

Hi there! Super cute necklace that is! I’m trying to think of my favorite time receiving jewelry…it’s a hard one. But I suppose it would be the super cool danglely (is that a word?:-))earrings I just got for my birthday in March! My parents had them made specially for me to match my multi colored necklace, ring, and bracelet! Now I match from wrist to ears! :-)

Lindsey Hay - September 4, 2009 - 9:08 am

Hi. This necklace it great. It goes along with what my grandfather always told me. “Spread your wings and Fly! Reach for your dreams the sky is the limit!”

I like to call things in my life that happen unexpectedly and turn into something wonderful “happy accidents”. I’ve had many happy accidents, meeting my husband, forgetting an ingredient in a recipe and discovering it tasted better without the ingredient, etc... Photography was another “happy accident". A friend needed someone to help shoot auto races, my husband volunteered me and bought me my first Digital SLR camera. Five years have passed since those first nights standing on a wall and trying my best to capture cars traveling 120 mph heading directly at me. It didn’t take me long before I wanted to learn how to operate the camera without guidance. My journey began and still continues. read more
