What a year it’s been. I shot my last wedding of 2009 and it was our son Bryan’s wedding. What a fabulous way to end a year of witnessing, capturing and sharing in love stories. I knew Rachel was special when we first met after spending time with her family I found out why she is so special. They are a loving, generous and gracious group of people. Thank you Bravo family for your hospitality, love and for sharing Rachel with us. I couldn’t imagine a better partner for Bryan and I am so happy for both of them. Without further adieu here are some of my faves from the wedding, first up getting ready shots with Rachel:
Bridal details
I love the next image of Rachel in the car on the way to the Chapel
The gorgeous girls
The handsome guys
The ceremony
Oh, yum! Look at the light streaming in the windows.
The kiss, Bryan was a bit excited. ![]()
As you might have noticed, the ceremony was in a beautiful chapel in the mountains, surrounded by tall pine trees and snow. A pine tree was the perfect setting for the ring shot
Some alone time with Bryan and Rachel
Our lovely and amazing daughter-in-law
I will close this post with some detail shots from the reception. Rachel’s mom worked OVERTIME decorating the reception site and the chapel. She even constructed the Chuppah that Bryan and Rachel stood under at the ceremony. Everything she put her hand to was fabulous. Thank you Heidi, you took the duties of Mother of the Bride to a whole new level.
Bryan and Rachel you two have blessed my heart. I pray that you will have more happiness than you can measure. Enjoy the rest of your Honeymoon. Love and {big juicy hugs}!!!!

Maria, What can I say! You did a beautiful job, although I know there was extra love in this wedding. My nephew and his new wife had a gorgeous wedding and the pictures are truly inspiring. I must say that my favorite is the one with the sun beams coming through the chapel. Not to mention how gorgeous my nephew is. Congratulations.
