I had a rare treat, the opportunity to travel with Robert to San Francisco! He was shooting the NASCAR race and I went along for sightseeing and to be able to spend his downtime with him.
Something we don’t get enough of so I jumped at the chance. Of course, our first order of business was to see the Golden Gate Bridge, before all available light was gone. Here are a few shots that I got.
An explanation about the next image it may not be to every one’s liking but I’m going to include it because I find it interesting and strangely appealing. For my photog friends the light was all but gone so I found myself shooting at ss 1/40 with an ISO of 1000, f 2.8. I didn’t want to stop shooting so I decided to twist the camera a little bit and see what would happen. This is what I got.
Next up will be posts about my visit to China Town and Fisherman’s Wharf. I hope you’ll come back to see more pics from my San Francisco adventure.

Maria, these are all awesome. I love your creative bridge shot at the end. At first glance I was thinking you used a TS lens and I was getting lens envy.
Neat effect.
Beautiful, Maria…
Don’t know what happened to my winky-face emoticon. He looks a bit strange!
GOOOOORRR-GEOOOUUUSSS!! [tried to get the whole sing-song thing going on. Hope it worked!
